Ronda is located on a plateau 750 meters above sea level and is divided into two areas by the famous Tajo de Ronda, a gorge 100 meters deep and about 500 meters long excavated by the Guadalevín river, to which the buildings of its historic center overlook, which gives the city a picturesque panorama that, together with the variety of monuments it has, has turned Ronda into a remarkable tourist center.
We will make a panoramic tour starting at the Alameda (Mirador de la Serranía) and we will go through the Orson Welles promenade to the Real Maestranza and Plaza de Toros de Ronda whose origins date back to 1572 and currently maintains a unique historical and artistic heritage in Spain. We will continue along the Puente Nuevo and from the Viewpoint of Aldehuela we will contemplate this magnificent work of the 18th century and the Puente Viejo. We will continue through the historic center where we can admire the Casa Don Bosco, the Joaquín Peinado Museum, the Casa del Gigante and we will arrive at the Plaza where the Town Hall and the Collegiate Church of Santa María la Mayor are located (entrance fees not included).
